The total experience was enjoyable, I recommend. Whole place was clean with lovely views; exceptionally nice location by the river. Location: the hotel was so close to the restaurant across the road, tram, bus, metro, and the supermarket. Plus it was max 120 mins walk to the lake. The service was all in all very good.

Everything was fine. The room was well equipped for a stay of some days. River Seine was exactly out our window and it was wonderful.
My wife has a problem of walking and we had asked a room with less stairs to reach it. Our room was on the 3rd floor and there was not a lift. That was a problem for us. The polite man in the reception searched for a room with no stairs but all were full.

I cannot praise the manager and staff highly enough with the level of attention and service they afforded my partner Sue and I. Sue became ill during during our holiday and the manager Christophe Daniel personally drove us to the nearest hospital and waited with us as long he practically could. The staff were efficient an and attentive throughout our stay and turned a nightmare into a pleasure, a rare quality indeed in a corporate world obsessed with cost and profit. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and would recomend it to any one who want's a quiet relaxing rest by the river. Ah I almost forgot the Coypu!
Nothing in particular all I'd suggest is that they have a convenience food store installed on site. There are facilities to buy some food and other convenience items at reception but I think a corner shop mini super market type facility would help customers buy odd last minute items and provide an extra revenue stream for the resort.

The location of this place next to the river is lovely, and it is fairly quiet and fabulous. The floors might need some mopping.

We brought our bikes (from home) and cycled to different places within about 15 miles (e.g. pont d'arche) We drove to Monet's gardens and Lyons en foret. To relax we sunbathed in the wooded area and read books. We lunched out a couple of times and cooked our evening meals in the appartment.
We had a problem with other guests below us smoking (we were on the first floor). Their smoke came in to our appartment - first thing in the morning, during the night and when every time we were eating our evening meal on our balcony. We found this very unpleasant. Also, as we were right above the reception area it was quite noisy at times, although the staff kindly re-located the kareoke night to the games room in the Normandie building instead of the Manoir reception area when we asked for this.

The location here is great, set in a lovely area near a supermarket, Rouen, and Giverny, with a casual restaurant serving reasonably priced meals.
